Moved to Winter Haven, FL. Had DSL. Wanted Naked DSL but not available. Went with Cable. Cheaper, Faster. No issues so far. 1 Week of service. QOS is much better for VOIP.
Ordered and installed in 14 days. Tech was on time. (4 hour window).
We went with cable for $32.95 for 6 months. Goes to 40ish after. We save by not having to have a phone line and DSL bill. We use Vonage VOIP and several virtual phone numbers.
Installed Toshiba PCX2600 Cable Modem. Works. I'll follow up and let you know about my network install.
Update: 9/21/07: Everything is working as advertised. Great speed. Low Ping times compared what I was getting.
Update: 7/9/08: Going up to $44.95 So far no problems. Quick. Reliable.
