I'm in the middle of moving (living in 2 places, move final August 1st, 2008) and have decided to toss out cable. I've officially used both Comcast (Comcrap) and Charter. Charter was the most broken up company I've ever delt with and billing was always a problem. Comcast has more a problem on service and double billing.
Dish Network seems to be an easy setup (they where on time and didn't have me wait long hours, unlike cable who tells you between 7am - 5pm). Image seems just as clear as able (will not know until HD TV is at new address).
The pricing seems to be about the same for the channels I want, but I do get more (not the once I use though).
Like Charter, they did want money up front or wanted a credit card on file paperless billing). Which I still dislike. Cell phones seem to be the only ones who don't ask for such.
