    I have the Premium Package that promises 2 meg download and I get it.

    So I cannot complain , latency is bad and they do block Peer to peer downloads

    It seems that they have an auto blocker or a "cap" for sites like Limewire etc, they do not block other FTP sites that are less popular, but music is harder to obtain for me now , minor deal , I just work around it. I can actually get fairley good speed with Bit Torrent-- So That problem is solved , so all in all It works and is better than most things Ive had here , Verizon gave me a 30 day trial and then billed me 9 grand!

    Not Clear Wire

    @comcast.net

    Not Clear - Canceling is a HUGE hassle

    If you are ever in an area that doesn't get good reception here are your options:

    1. Try to sell you modem online at eBay and have someone take over your contract.

    2. Go through a multi-step, multi-hour process of confirming that you don't have clear reception. The 1st operator makes you go from room to room, even your bathroom to see if you have reception.

    b. Then once you pass that test, you wait to get to technical support and they make you do the same processes.

    c. Then you get transferred to yet another department who schedules a 'free' technical support call to your house to confirm that you get sub-standard reception.

    d. The technical support person comes to your house and goes through the same process. I was told that I could put it outside my Redmond, WA house. Yeah. In the rain and wind in a little plastic box.

    In essence it is a long drawn out hassle to cancel with these folks.

    So if you move or if your neighbor's trees grow to high and your service sucks, will be prepared for a long, drawn out hassle of a service.
