I got clearwire in back in july and i was just fine. every month after july each light has been going down 5 in july 4 in augst etc etc. now its october and now its hovering around the 1st and 2nd light. Also i don't like the auto pay system. I like to know when i pay the bill and not the company to decide when to take out the 40 bucks out of my checking account. Its very easy to pay the bill twice and not know it.

I have the basic package thats 768 download and 256 upload with 3 email accounts for 44.98. After reading the previous reviews it looks like i got screwed with the basic and not getting the premium one.

The good points are I guess its affordable when your only 19 and for being able to plug it in and go.

    C/W In AK..........

Sorry to hear about your Clearwire experience. I don't understand why you're paying over $44 for a 768 kbps account. I'm paying $30 total for the same service, and I thought the plans were all standardized everywhere. Have you done a speed test? Maybe you are actually getting 1.5 mbps, which costs around $43.
About your modem lights: have you tried moving it around for a better connection? Mine varies between 3 - 5 lights, depending on the time of year (green trees and leaves versus bare Fall and Winter trees). I don't see how you can get very good service with 1 - 2 lights! Might want to call your local Clearwire people and have them come by and see your problems, and to talk about your account. Have you done this already? You have to make noise to be heard!!
