I used Skyfx for a month after Skyway went *poof* (now you see us, now you don't)
The service worked great when my phone lines were working. The fastest speed I saw was 695 kbps down.
The crew at Skyfx are knowledgeable and courteous. They'll spend hours on the phone with you if you need that much assistance.
Overall, I would highly recommend them to anyone in a rural setting that has good phone lines.
NOTE: Skyfx has recently relinquished control of their customers to starconnectllc.com
The resulting changes are yet to be seen, but the "rural americans working for rural americans" marketing strategy doesn't apply any longer.
Brightstar Internet will be the replacement provider, with increased fees and slower speeds
