I don't use Sprint Mobile Broadband with the card, but instead via my PDA phone. My laptop connects to my PDA phone via Bluetooth, and I connect out to the net via PDANet. High speed internet on my laptop -- mobile.
I can give an overall review of the network -- and quite simply, its great. Fast reliable service on the go. As I type this I'm in a car moving at 70 mph -- and the service still works fine. In fact, I'm watching streaming video from CNN right now too.
Data roaming is perfect too -- although you will loose your connection if your device switches from the Sprint network to a roaming provider (such as Verizon or Altel). That gets annoying in some scenarios -- especially since you roam 1XRTT (lower speed connection -- around 144kbps max) on VZW. However, Sprint's national network is huge these days -- I was driving through Death Valley last summer and still had service. EVDO coverage is massive -- seems to be coast to coast these days.
I'm sure there are some areas where the antennas / the antenna backhaul is overloaded and causing slow speeds for customers. However, i my experience I haven't had any major problems.
