Pre Sales information:

As of 4-7-2000 I cancelled my order with phoenix nOtworks.

If you want a warm fuzzy feeling about Phoenix then do not read on. If, however, you want to know my bad experience with the company then follow the links to my earlier posts below and read on.

»Re: You Are Missing the Point

The final straw was a phone call that I received yesterday that I was not within range for SDSL service. This was after I had been told numerous times since February that I was not only within range but I could get up to 784/784 SDSL service if I wanted it.

Instead of $49/month for 416/208 now they are asking me to pay $79/month for 144/144. No thanks, not when I have been told I could get and sold the 416/298 SDSL service.

Phoenix, get your facts straight and quit selling people services that you can't deliver. I'm sure that you have satisfied customers who didn't go through the same crap that I did. I'm happy for them, I wish I was one of them especially since I'm now resigned to the old dial up. But as far as I'm concerned your sales person misrepresented the fact that service was available in my area (pre-sale), he misrepresented what type of service I was able to get, and the overall lack of communication/coordination regarding this order was unbelievable (and that was just a preview because installation hadn't even started yet).

The REAL bottom line.....I just can't say it better than Phoenix Sucks.
