    I signed up with T-Mobile a little over two years ago. At the time the only service they offered was GPRS as such the speed was like IDSN slow and workable but quite stable. Coverage was excellent and unlike another provider I tried for data the T-Mobile system could truly handle mobile data as in moving while surfing while with the other company I could connect but as soon as I started moving the connection would soon be broken requiring a re-connect.

    Last year I was working at a T-Mobile site and I noticed their tech was connected on EDGE. After talking with him it turned out all I had to do was replace my air-card and now I decent (not ADSL but nice) speeds when I am in the range of a site with EDGE and the T’s to support it.

    Al in all I have been very happy with the service about the only bump in the road is trying to get tech support. There is no dedicated number (that I know of) to call for data so a tech support request is first routed to the Telco side who then hands the caller off to the data side.
