@suddenlink.net | SuddenLink Service SuddenLink service sucks. Do not use them if you have alternatives. I'll be switching from my Cox contract as soon as I can. SuddenLink Cox.

| Suddenlink is killing me! I had Cox and suddenlink took over Mount Pleasant, Tx. It was ok when i had cox and it was ok when i went to suddenlink BUT when I moved and it got hooked up through suddenlink, it is crap, I got the fastest internet possible through them and its going at about 300 mbits when it should be like 9000 mbits. There seams to be a problem with that picture. Plus, 4 technicians have came out and it just continues to mess up. they blamed it on my router, so I told them to direct connect and it still didn't work. Everytime someone else comes out they say it's my router and so I say the same thing. I'd literally me better off just getting dial up. you notice I put suddenlink in all lowercase because they aren't important. DON'T GET suddenlink(LOL), it sucks and they aren't wanting to do anything about it. | |

| Suddenlink is a JOKE, but I'm not laughing I stumbled across this site and I absolutely agree. I'm in north MS and Suddenlink is HORRIBLE. The service is awful, doesn't work half the time and forget talking to anyone who knows what they're talking about. I waste anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours a week trying to get my internet service to work (which I might add is a whopping $50 per month) They have no problem increasing rates at will.
By the way, I was looking for an alternative ISP when I found this site. Government rules and regulations give these companies a monopoly with non-compete laws. In my business, we would lose all of our customers if our service was this bad.

I hope they have very little customers and just go bankrupt.
SeldomLink doesn't deserve to stay in business.

| suddenlink sucks Suddenlink sucks everywhere! Im in Northern California, where suddenlink is the ONLY provider for local channels, (ABC, NBC, FOX, etc.) so there are no other cable options. I had internet through them and switched to DSL, and tried to switch from cable to directv but couldnt, so now i guess im just screwed. Isnt there something we an do? if everyone is having the same problem? (currently I have been on hold for 68 minutes to tech support) It seems like there ought to be someone we can talk to to get this BS monopoly fixed. ?? any suggestions? | |

| If you have a choice, look elsewhere My experience...nineteen calls about slow or down service in eight months. Basically, we did not expect the net to work between 7 and 7 and gave up "It is a rural thing..." we were told. Hey, you guys are from Louisiana where it is poor so be glad with what you have. I heard the ghost of Huey Long in their arrogant voices.
Finally, a supervisor noticed that we had an old router and had never been upgraded. "I m surprised it works at all... any of our employees should have told you that...Guess they mae a mistake" (hahahaha)
Thanks. | |

| Suddenlink not only sucks, it blows Suddenlink took over for Cox in much of texas, including my area. the cable quality is shoddy on many channels, and the "high speed" internet conks out at least once a week.
Which makes it even more infuriating when I hear their stupid commercials on the radio about how "boringly reliable" they are. They're about as reliable as tissue paper shock absorbers, and as useless as a weasel in a cardboard shirt.
To make matters worse, Verizon DSL seems to realize this, so they charge an arm and a leg, though at least they don't have the outage problems SL does

| Suddenlink Look guys I have worked for Suddenlink about a year and I agree the company has trouble. But, being on the inside, I know they could care less about what people are thinking. It is the "good ole boy" system and when you go to your local office and complain they laugh and talk badly about that customer. I even know of situations where employees will do things to the drop to create a repeattrouble call and aggrevate the customer. If only you guys knew what I did, you would understand how Suddenlink really don't care if you get mad, threaten not to be their customer, or get pissed off because where I'm from they don't care. | |
