I researched DSL in my area about 2 1/2 months ago on the DSL Reports
site and decided to go with Phoenix Networks. I officially ordered
service from the sales rep on February 2 and was told that there's a
backlog on installations of anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.
Well...it's now 2 months later and no sign of an install. I called
Phoenix for a status report and was told that their partner, Rythms, was
responsible for the inside install. The Phoenix rep then said that
Rythms was not "live" yet in my area, and that they're not sure when it
ever will be. Do ya think the sales rep could have told me this 2
months ago? If he did, I would never have wasted my time with Phoenix
Networks. I'm thoroughly dissappointed with the company's lack of
professionalism. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, Phoenix gets a 1.
