Monthly cost reflects the "FIOS Internet 35/35" breakout price on a Quad Play package.

Connection is extremely robust; downtime virtually non-existent. I do remember one fairly brief DNS outage. Down speed is normally well above advertised (43.27 Mbps today for example); up speed tends to run 8-10 Mbps below the 35 Mbps spec (although this is not a problem for me and I've never complained about it).

First level tech support is not great if you end up having to deal with a CSR. I've never talked to a first level CSR who knew as much as I did about a problem. If you can get the CSR to escalate to a real technician you're golden though. Problems have been very infrequent, so tech support's not a major issue.

The supplied router is the usual Actiontec MI424WR (required for the TV side onscreen program guide); I'm using a Netgear "N" dual band as a WiFi access point (secondary LAN to LAN connection to the Actiontec).

[On edit] I have found the sales droids (contracted out, I think) to be somewhat less than forthcoming and at times downright misleading.
