| Better hope your connection stays lit Don't bet on FIOS. If Verizon steps on your line, it can be a week before you get a repair. It's a week if you get up each morning dialing the same number and talking to the same people, starting from the beginning, like Bill Murry in Groundhog Day. Every day ends the same at 5:00 PM with the realization that the repair was never dispatched. So you get up the next day and start from the beginning again, over and over.
I choke on Verizon's phone mail "Verizon is very committed to your repair appointment." A classic marketing misnomer to clarify that your repair is not important.
Maybe satellite will be the answer. It may not be fast, but the squirrels don't seem to bother it. | |

My hole review changed once they credit me over $1000 dollars as of today shit my first bill was last month and I signed up 2007 december 24th yea they credit all the months back I paid plus gave me 3 months free plus a $65 dollar discount for the rest of my contract and a free LCD. yea thats why I changed my review the credits make up for the problems an then some skeedat. | |

You changed your review because you're a shill for Verizon and got embarrassed when people were pointing out your own nightmare experience. Now you try and change history but fortunately you left a post trail that accurately reflects the nightmare Verizon put you through.
Your review is worse than worthless because it doesn't accurately reflect the...in your words...half-assed install, dumb ass FiOS techs, 12 missed appointments, 70 hours on the phone with technical support, latency problems, billing problems and not being able to get your advertised upload speeds.
I don't give a crap how many bribes they give you; in no way shape or form does your multi-month nightmare experience warrant the ass kissing you give Verizon and in doing so you mislead those interested in getting FiOS. Yeah, you're going to post your bill just like you were going to post 15ms line monitoring to the west coast.

Shoot you could say my 20/20 internet is free my DVR is free my phone is 80% free and my HBO STARS and CINAMAX is all free tell 2010. so yea after this deal my experience is erased pluse I have an extra $65 dollars a month tell 2010 wich is a savings of $1060 dollars a year I no thats crazy pluse lets not for get my credit for the past 6 months free lol is it just me are you crazy and cant see my experience with not paying squat for fios. lol again | |

Picture quality isn't any better than cable with Brighthouse (TW) cable provider down here.
Verizon, in my opinion, is engaging in questionable business practices, if you want to delude yourself into thinking that HORRIBLE customer service is bearable in light of decent upload speeds and mystery charges and overpriced bundles that's your prerogative.

I really dont see where cabls better its priced around, the same HD count is even, fios will ultimately when there in my opinion and fios easily has better internet packages.
only bad thing about Verizon is billing, it takes them forever if you have a billing problem to fix it. But if they dont expect some credits in return so all in all Verizon is a great company they'er making me happy and The picture on my TV is in my words beautiful its like looking at HD with out HD ya digg. | |
