Even though I ordered the package (phone, TV, and Internet), the guy who came did not have the work order for the phone service... The installation of Internet and TV went pretty smoothly. I am not pleased with the fact that I was charged a $20 fee for a 4th STB "installation". He couldn't just give me the box to "install" myself.
Regarding the fiber optics phone service, I was given the impression someone would be by the next business day and was told it would probably take the guy only 10-15 minutes, but when it appeared noone would be showing up, I called. Their automated voice response system is pretty frustrating to deal with (slow, doesn't have the right options for getting to the right person, got disconnected several times) and after speaking to a real person, having to be transferred and being put on hold again. Next time, when the installer is here, I'll know to raise hell for him to do it even though it is not on the work order. Anyway, looks like I may have to wait a couple of more days. Also the day after I got internet service, I was getting frequent sporadic interruptions in Internet service... Probably it went down close to 10 times in a 2 hour period. Very frustrating. Again, after waiting 45+ minutes on hold to talk to a real person, they tried a few things and was going to send out a technician the following Monday... Since the rest of the weekend I didn't notice any other interruptions, so I decided to cancel the service call.
I am hoping I don't have to deal with Customer Service again... The wait times are not acceptable. Their support website is also below par.
Note the monthly price is only an estimate but includes Internet, TV (with movies/sports + one international channel), and phone.
