I used to have one of the competitors HSI products here. The day FIOS was available I ordered it. Took about 6 days to get it. Install went smooth (took about 4 hrs) and it's (for the most part) been smooth sailing ever since.
Speeds (I'm rated for 20/5 and speed tests continually hit the correct marks or faster WOO WOO!! )

I dunno what in the world is going on, I've heard from a couple others of getting the 15/5 but I've not got a clue why.
I have recommended to numerous folks to do the following:
1). get a Vz. phone # on line 2 of the house.
2). order Vz Fios on that line (and claim you have another provider on line 1). That way if you need to actually have copper for a pots line you've got it.
3). enjoy your Vz Fios!
I'm really very happy with this. Now if they can do something to fix the stupid IGD for the FIOS TV! ARGH!!! I'm really bent out of shape that Vz put this junk out to the consumers without the basic functionality that was in the previous IGD and there's no way to go backwards... The IGD in a word "SUCKS".
Fios it Great; actually the TV is great; but.... the IGD SUCKS!
