    Brian from Verizon did a great job installing it at my CPA home office. He did a careful job and explained things as he was going through the various installation steps. Give yourself the entire day for installation. It will take hours, trust me on that. After it was installed I immediately went to dslreports.com and tested the speed. I ordered 15/2 but it was provisioned for 5/1 and Brian had to contact the tech people and have it reset. This took all of ten minutes. The phone is connected to the fiber optic line and the sound quality of our regular telephones is excellent. I used Covad as our DSL provider and Covad did a fine job (still use them for my other office) but the Verizon FIOS product is far superior and half the price. I am waiting for their television product to come out once they jump over the various regulatory hurdles. Verizon has been criticized for spending a lot of money for the FIOS product but I think they made the right decision.

    Having used it for one year with a very sophisticated computer all I can tell you is that I am more productive as I do a fair amount of work from this location in Pennsylvania. TV service is excellent as well.

    I ordered 15/2 and they told me all along that would be speed but the order form the technician had showed that I had ordered only 5/1 speed which is what most people order and it is the default in their system. Not a big deal as they literally push a switch and the speed is as advertised.
