I am certainly a minority in that I've been quite disappointed with the service offered by Teksavvy. I ordered dry loop DSL (not having a home phone) and had quite a bit of trouble getting it working. Tech support for the matter has been marginal at best.

It took a fair bit of hassle to actually get the internet working. At one point it was suggested that my modem was defective. In order to verify this and to be able to get a refund, apparently I was responsible for finding another modem (from a neighbor or friend) and trying it out. This is a horrible system, and a very poor example of standing behind what one sells (they did, after all, sell me the modem).

Anyhow, the service did eventually start working without my doing anything special. Might have been something Bell did. The whole procedure has been quite an enormous hassle, and I was particularly distressed by their attempt at a solution for my possibly defective modem. Were I doing it again, I would go for a different provider. That said, this service is good in principle, particularly for people who have a specific reason to avoid the bigger ISPs and don't mind a bit of hassle.
