    *****update January 17, 2008*******
I will not renewing my ViaTalk subscription when it expires on February 4, 2008.
The service and support has been very good. Whenever I picked up the telephone there was always a dial tone. If there was an outage I was not aware of it.

The only issue I had with ViaTalk is when they attempted to bill me monthly for their Enhanced 911 Fee, and their Cost Recovery Fee. I paid them up front and when I signed up they did have these fees. This is the only reason I am not going to renew. There are plenty of other services out there that when you pay for service for a year; you don’t get billed again until the next year.

    *******update Feb 26, 2006************
ViaTalk has upgraded the website to tell me how many minutes I use in the month.
So I have boosted the website rating. The service has worked perfect for me.
I really believe this service is working out very good. They seem to be listening to their customers and making things better month by month. This service is a keeper and the price is very excellent.

    *****Update Dec 6, 2006*******
Have been using ViaTalk for a year now, and I have been extremely pleased with them. If there was outage I never noticed it. Website keeps getting better and better. The down side to being a ViaTalk customer is that now AT&T(SBC) will not leave me alone. They keep calling me and calling me and sending me mail wanting me to switch back to them. With the savings and the clear calls and the lack of outages AT&T(SBC) is a thing of my past.

    *******update Jan 7, 2006************
Being on limited minutes plan without a charge; I was wondering how many minutes I have used and when is my cut off. Searching the website after I logged in I found nothing to tell me my actual minutes used for the period and when my billing period ended. So I wrote to tech support. Tech Support told me that I would have to add up the minutes off my call log. Tech Support also told me what day was my cut off. I decided to lower the Website rating because I don't feel in this day in age that I should have to count the minutes myself, and billing part of the website should have given me the cut off date for billing. Tech Support did mention that they hoped to have this enhancement added.

    ****update Dec 9, 2005****
Today I recieved my equipment from ViaTalk. I had everything hooked up in less
then 5 minutes and everything worked perfect no adjustments. Calls are real clear. My people are surprised that I am talk through VOIP. Overall very smooth ride. I am happy with it.

    ****update Dec 8, 2005****
I received an email yesterday from ViaTalk with invoice that my order was processed and also in a separate email was my new phone number. And also
was the tracking number of my shippment. So far things look pretty smooth,

I signed up for VIA Talk on Sunday Morning Dec 4, 2005. They sent me email with confirmation of my order also on the email was a link to track my order.
They didnt let me choose my phone number at the time of sign up, so I emailed the support to find out what my new number would be. I got immediate response telling me the numbers are randomly generated and I would be notified with in 48 of the order what that number would be. I will update this review when my order is filled and also rate my usage has time goes by.
