My BellSouth dsl service was installed on 3/09/00; prior to that date, I had two service calls to make sure my line was up to par. Two installers arrived exactly on time, and they tried, to no avail, for three hours to get my service started. They left the equipment for me to try to do a self-install, and I was successful with lots of help from BellSouth's tech support. On the two occasions that I've used tech support, they have been excellent! I'm using a 3Com NIC along with NTS 300. At first, my speed was decent floating around the 750 Kbps amount. And then I tweaked my RWIN setting...my last speed test 8160 Kbps, 1000KBps! My speed is consistently off the chart using the MSN bandwidth speedtest. I have had no outages since installation, and all I can truly say is that my experience with BellSouth has been all I could ask for.
