I bought their highest package at 79.95/month. The e-mail was horrible in the beginning, never seemed to work. When I called, the customer service was nice and friendly, but they never resolved the problem. Once they went to GMail, now the e-mail works, but because their e-mail service was so poor, I stuck with my original e-mail accounts.

Service in regards to download speed would come and go. Initially we went off line many times, and not do to weather. Do to some unknown reason. Have had the service for over a year now. Around 2 weeks ago, the service degraded considerably, then went to a snail's crawl. Called and found out we exceeded their maximum allowed for upload and download. Asked why we were not given a forewarning. They said they did. My bills all go to my original e-mail address (non-Wildblue e-mail), and one time in the pass when I went too high, they e-mailed me at my non-Wildblue address, but this time they decided to e-mail my Wildblue address that I never look at. Silly. Not that it would have helped if they sent it to my non-Wildblue e-mail address. They mailed me on one day to say I was close to the limits, and then they e-mailed me the following day to say my service was being restricted.

Called Customer Service and they are not helpful at all. Won't or can't explain when our usage jumped. They just offer a screen that shows a percentage for my download, but they don't show the percentage for the upload, so I have no idea how far beyond a 100% it is now at.

The reduced access because of our violation of the Fair Access bullcrap of theirs is giving us service SLOWER than dialup.

I am now looking into getting out their service and would highly recommend to others to think twice before hooking up with Wildblue.
