Are they even still in business?

Even if everything worked as promised (a big "if") they're priced at DOUBLE or more than market alternatives. T-Mobile is half as much at $9.95 a month... Magic Jack is even less of that at under $20 for a whole YEAR.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the math here... I can't imagine why anyone with a clue would still be using Packet8.

    tech support

I've called tech support maybe 3 times in the past year (even less in previous years) and I've always quickly gotten a real person on the phone who speaks excellent English and can diagnose problems well. They also respond to email tech support requests.

Outages are rare and brief when they occur.

    Re: tech support

Never used tech support can't reply to that, 2 plus years of use only 1 major outage and maybe 2 minor outages.

Vonage is bleeding out badly, I truly believe packet 8 will be one of the last voip services standing when it's all said and done.
