I signed up for Vonage unlimited back in February on-line. It was not made clear that I was signing a 24 month committment, the agreement is buried in their terms of service. Install was fast and easy.
I had consistent problems with audio dropping out every 20-30 seconds. Several calls and numerous hours with Vonage couldn't resolve the issue. When I tried to cancel service to move to another provider, I found out about the 24 month committment and the hardware charge (can't return hardware after 30 days, evidently). $120 in fees later, I'm finally disconnected. Customer Service was entirely unwilling to consider waiving the fees, even though the service didn't work.
I would not recommend to anyone.
