    At the time of my order Vonage was offering the first month free. My employer was also offering 6 months free. That gives me a total of 7 months free service - which is a pretty good deal for me. The sound quality is BETTER than what I had on my landline - which was riddled with static that I could not get AT&T to figure out.

    Update: Sound seems to be flaky if I use the internet while talking on the phone, lots of cutting out. I think it's mainly do to my internet connection and not vonage. It seems vonage won't honor the 6 months of free service as they have charged me yet again for another month of service after I called and complained the last time.
