Went out 7/13/05 and purchased the LinkSys WRTP54G for $141.00 from Best Buy, with the $150.00 MIR with turn in of old WIFI router. Signed up for the $24.99 unlimited calling with Vonage, and no contract term when activated the service.
Only big problem was that the servers for Vonage's Dashboard where unavailable until after 7:00 pm on 7/13/05, but once they where up, I was able to sign up and log in to make changes for my account.
Keeping SBC DSL for highspeed Internet (3mb $29.99), had SBC strip the voice down to the lowest package ($13.99). SBC and Vonage Rep's where very professional when I dealt with both companies.
