Ordered online on 1/16. Items shipped 3 days later. Linksys router arrived on 1/20. Everything was literally plug and play. The Linksys box replaced an older Netgear router, and after installed, and the cable modem turned back on, it immediately grabbed an IP, and voila! I had a dialtone.
So far, works as advertised.
Only issue to date is that getting a human on the phone for tech. support is a pain in the ass. But, to their credit, their email response time is pretty quick... but that's only helpful when you have an active internet connection.
Only time will tell how the overall reliability is... until then, it's cheap, simple to install, and works.
Update: 5/10/2005
Service has been nearly perfect since sign-up. My Verizon number was ported about 30 days into the contract, and went very smoothly. My only complaint is that when calling others with Caller ID, your Vonage number will not include your name... It's a neat feature that I enjoy on my home Caller ID, and I know others like it, as well... hopefully Vonage can add the name to the phone number for outgoing phone calls at some point in the future.
Update: 9/3/2007
Still pleased with the service. I've added a second line along with some other advanced features without a hiccup.
