"Quick install, excellent service, support reps call a few days later to ensure you're satisfied"
"none so far"
"Great price for fast, reliable service"

I initially had Roadrunner but was so dissatisfied with it that I've recently switched to AT&T Yahoo.

I called to get my phone and internet switched to AT&T Yahoo, and within a week, they were out here hooking things up. The technician that came into my home wore those booties (shoe covers) so he wouldn't track dirt onto my cream carpet, which was so thoughtful of him! He also made small talk and seemed really friendly and didn't make me feel like an idiot because I'm not as tech-savvy as he was. LOL He really made us feel like we customers were his #1 priority. Once he was done, he tested all the lines and made sure to clean up after himself. He then asked me where I'd like the phone and if I wanted him to hook it up; he said it was no problem.

A few hours later, a rep called to check and make sure the phone was working and that I was not having problems or concerns with the service. She also wanted to remind me of my internet service activation date and gave me all of their support contact info in case I needed anything else, and she ensured me that they have talked to my old ISP and have handled making sure that the old services were disconnected so I wouldn't pay for both.

A few days later, I received my small, lightweight modem in the mail and got everything set up. It came with everything I need, and it was really simple to get it all set up. I did end up using my own stash of phone cord though, because I needed over 25ft of it. LOL They did give me filters and a very long cord but it was just a few feet shy from what I needed, as I was going to hide the wiring behind the baseboard so I needed extra slack.

I've had the internet since Apr 25, and have not had any problems with it so far. It also seems faster, as graphics-intense sites (like RPG ones) pop up right away when in the past with Roadrunner, it took a few seconds to sometimes a minute before the page was done loading. I had no noise on the phone line either, but it was nice just to have one that works! A rep called me the day of my internet installation to ensure everything went well, and then they called again a few days later to make sure things with both my phone & internet were still good and to give me all of their support contact info.

Overall, I was pleased with the service and level of care I received from AT&T Yahoo. If in the future, I get any problems with it, I will post again and share with all of you. But so far, everything's great! I was told to keep the modem turned on for 10 days so that they can see what, if any, tweaking would be necessary to ensure I was getting the speed I paid for. So the speed tests done below may not be stable/accurate. I will do a few more after the 10-day mark.

    Equipment received:

    - Modem: Motorola (Style# mstatea) w/ power cord

    - Long (15-20ft?) ethernet cord (color coded with the modem outlet)

    - Long (15-20ft?) data cable (color coded with the modem outlet)

    - Instructions and other manuals

    - CD-ROM installation/guide
