sept 2008:
6mbps down, 640kbps up, great for regular web/email/im/gaming and some streaming video. about $80/mth including landline, i'm looking at switching to the dsl direct package which removes the landline. easy to order and install, but the modem only has one ethernet so i had to get a separate 4-port router for devices that could not use wifi. considered cable internet but apt complex said it was not as reliable. just got through hurricane ike, dsl and landline were back up the next day, cable took an extra 5 days, glad i had dsl.
