I started out with DSL back when they didn't have it shared on my phone line so I had a dedicated pair. Well speeds got faster with line sharing and I had the occasional telco tech grab my dsl pair for pots that would pull me out of service. Not a huge deal, and they were alwalys quick to put it back, but still an irritant. I went to line share dsl to get the faster speeds. Over the last 3 years it has performed very reliably. Pages load quicker than the friends I have running with TWC road runner, and down load's all though a bit slower, is fast enough for what I need today If I upgraded it would be equal to or faster than my friends cable, however I'm waiting patiently for Uverse to be turned up in my neighborhood. With the upload speed increasing from 384k to 1Mb and 6Mb download AND tv service it will give new meaning to bang for the buck. Overall, great tech support (as long as you're not talking to someone in India or over seas), haven't had to deal with customer service much, but when I have they have been helpful.
