COX speeds are good, however, I have had nothing but trouble since switching from my Windstream 3Meg DSL to COX 12 MEG cable.
I ordered and picked up my equipment, which saved me a lot of money for the "professional" installation of my internet. COX did come and install the cable outlets, so internet hookup was fast and easy.
The cable modem supplied was a Motorola Surfboard SB5101.
If I can get my connection stable I would say COX is the best I have ever experienced in a ISP. But at this time, I cannot say that. I am almost considering going back to my trusty slower DSL.

| Update to my Review of COX Well, COX came out a couple times. Both times they were prompt, and very courteous.
They decided to swap the modem to see if that was the issue.
Hopefully this resolves my issue. If not at least COX is trying and that makes me feel better. | |
