The rate is for combo discount of internet access and basic cable. With out basic cable, it would be 60.95 plus tax.
I live right on the Bedford/Concord border. ADSL can't reach me. After 4 month of dialup life, Comcast finally brought us cable modem service. So I signed up right away.
Installating appointment was pretty much on-time. But the technician did not have proper tool to drill the hole on my wall to the basement. (The house never had cable service) So I had to run and borrow one from my neighbor. Credit to the technician, he didn't just give up and run. He worked till late in the evening to finish the job.
I had to wait for another few hours to be actaully able to use it. The modem took a long time to register or something. But after that, it's really smooth.
The free upgrade to 3 mbps downlink is pretty cool. But 256 kbps upload is not.
