"60GB/mon cap, Service degredetion due to network congestion in peak hours, EXPENSIVE. Blocks some American websites."

    No longer a customer.

    Good:
    -7Mbps, not controlled by Bell Nexxia, relatively unthrottled.

    Bad:
    -60GB/month. $2/GB upto $25.
    -Service degradation during peak hours. Speeds sometimes under 1MBps - 5MBps during these degradation periods.
    -VERY EXPENSIVE for the service that is delivered.

    Not Rogers only..

    Rogers isn't the one blocking comedy central. Doesn't matter what isp you use in Canada. You will be redirected to The Comedy Network if you originate from a Canadian ip.

    Rogers High Speed Internet Service

    Basically expensive, approaching the stage of being the worst in regards to customer service, download cap (I also guess there might be some sort of over-estimation of your usage), and the technology they offer is limited (have a wireless gateway with 802.11g and they don't offer an 802.11n equivalent so having service degradation at home.

    What is the name of the independent ISP you mentioned in your review? is it Rogers third party? CABLE?
