I had Rogers up till a month or so ago, because I had to move to a new area and Rogers doesn't offer services here [Oak Ridges area, Bayview/Stouffville intersection]. I used to live near the Bayview/Major Mackenzie area.

Anyways. I've used Rogers ever since sometime around '99, so 8 years now I've used Rogers cable TV and internet. I've used both their high speed and basic services. Not too much to complain about, the line was always up. The throttling really drove me nuts these last couple of months though. Having an upload rate of essentially zero was annoying to say the least. I had to call customer service a couple of times for minor issues. They aren't the best, but surely not as bad as Bell's.

The 15% off for using 2+ services from Rogers is nice. I wish I had that with Bell (and I thought I did) until I learned that I needed to order long distance phone services and not just regular phone. Oh well.

Bottom line, if you don't need BT, then Rogers will be fine for you. And if you hardly download, then of course you wouldn't need their throttled high-speed . Unless you're mainly an IRC or HTTP downloader.
