    I've been a Shaw high speed internet customer for a little over two
    years. I live in a very rural area. I'm at the far end of their line.
    I've had numerous serious problems mostly caused by problems on the
    distribution line.

    I was getting download speeds of around 2500 kbps but last week I was
    upgraded to a new Motorola modem. I was promised I would be able to get
    faster speeds and it's true. Speedtest.net gives results of dl 4634/ ul
    490/ ping 67. DSLReports speed test results are dl 3240/ ul 472/ ping
    57.

    That's great but there's still problems on the line as the modem has
    problems locking in due to high levels. A technician is supposed to come
    by today.
