Ordered via phone directly from Hughes on 24 Oct 2008 and finally installed 20 Nov 2008. Business I 400 w/500 meg, 2000K DL, 300K UL, static IP, .98M dish w/3 watt transmitter. HN9000 Commissioned on Spaceway III $129.00/mo When the system works I consistently get the plan speed and at times better than the plan speed.
The system will loose connectivity for no apparent reason (no weather event locally at least) thus requiring me to use the Alltel 1X service I had hoped to cancel. There is not a WISP or other broadband option here in the boonies so satellite or cellular is it.
Jan 16, 2009 Update: A call to Hughes business technical support was all it took to rectify my connectivity problem. Service has been rock solid even with several snow storms and temperatures hitting -30 degrees F.
