    Went back to cable recently as the latency/peering of DSL was simply too great in my area due to how it was setup.

    Throughput can drop to 6-7Mbps during peak times on the download. Full 1Mbps upload seems to always be available. This is a 10/1 connection with a 11273/1049 profile.

    Ping is very slightly bouncy at times but I believe this is simply the nature of cable. For having a lot of neighbors that undoubtedly also use the service things run pretty well with the Charter setup in my neighborhood. Not extremely happy with this connection but overall it's pretty good. I'd give it a B only because it's cable and the business subnetting to have more of a private connection is about $20-$30 too expensive IMO.

    Wish Charter would offer a mid-tier gamer/VPN/latency specific option without the business SLA to reduce cost but keep latency/stability at low steady levels at all times of day. Throughput is nice but stability is job one. This connection does not get an A for stability but like I said it certainly isn't bad, either.
