With no other competition, service could be horrible at higher pricing. Luckily, the national price average is for everyone regardless of competition. It would be nice to see price points shift downward, where a 10 or 15 mbps package could dip into the high $20's. My speeds are higher than advertised and there is no "prime time" slow down, ever. Outages are at 0 for the last 4 years (outside of power outages). Only tech support I have dealt with was in regards to an email account lock out and was handled quickly and professionally through the national 1-800 number.
