10/3/08 - I moved to a new house, ordered Comcast Triple Play, and got the 6mbps HSI speed tier.
Installer showed up, checked the signal levels to the house, and decided to run a second line from the street to my house for the cable modem. Everything went smoothly, I was up and running in about 2 hours. He also scheduled a follow up tech repair to boost the signal levels from the street.
I really wanted FIOS, but it's not available in my part of Potomac, MD yet. So....I'll be using Comcast until that time.
