Same situation with Insight. The main office acknowledges that the node is overloaded, but the local guys say they are wrong. They do some shuffling, and for a couple of weeks I get at, or near the advertised speeds, but without fail I end up right back where I started.
My guess they shuffle some connections on the node to increase my speed, but soon the others complain about their speed, and they run the same game on them. And Round and Round it goes; where it stops, only Comcast knows.
Any advice? (Unfortunately about 100ft too far for AT&T U-verse)
Any free automated, continuous, connection speed monitoring service to bolster my case?
