    I used to be a former @home customer (if anyone remembers them) then we got bought out by attbi and once again by comcast. I must say that even though so far I been threw 3 mergers I have had almost no downtime. The only time at least in my area that comcast goes down is when we have a windstorm then everyone is off. I can't comment on the install process because we got installed by @home people. I think I am on my 6th or 7th year with comcast and it will be my last year the new place I am moving to soon I just learned has FIOS
