    I switch from Verizon DSL to Comcast Cable Modem service in 09/2007. Although Verizon DSL was more reliable, Comcast has a better value for the cost in Northern Virginia.

    Cable companies have come a long way since the late 1990's (in terms of performance). Someday, the telcos *may* get smart and either lower their DSL prices further or remove half of the crap taxes they charge customers on their bill.
