I wish I had other options for BB, but I do not, other then satellite, which I do not consider BB due to the slow speeds offered and the lousy connectivity issues my neighbors have with both Dish and DirectTV.
I am on the 6000/384 tier. I wish they would open up the UPLOAD end, and square off the service somewhat.
Once I got an educated serviceman here, and he installed a dedicated coax from the pole to my computer room, I no longer have dropped connections like I used to have at least weekly. The connection was split 5 times, for all of the TVs before it got to my office! I pointed this out to 4 other installers, that were either too lazy or too stupid (probably both) to install a dedicated line. The dedicated coax line solved all of the problems I was having with my HSI connection.
UPDATE: 07/14/2007...Dateline Berlin....We finally got Power-BLAST!!!! Check out my latest speed-tests for results.
