    I just relocated to a Comcast area. For years, I have read horror stories about Comcast here at dslreports. After a week of service, I am not complaining. But I do see what people mean about Comcast being expensive.

    Oh well, I will enjoy the reduce rate for 3 months while I can.

    I have had this service for over one year it it was lost due to a power outage from a thunder storm that blacked out the area.

    Whelp, I have had Comcast for 1 year now and I am pleased with the service. I had one (1) outage and that was because the area lost power because of a thunder storm.

    Since I live in a over priced apartment here in Mt Plastic, SC, I am sure I will move again sometime here in the Charleston area when I am ready. When I do move, I will probably move my service with me.

    Over a year later:

    What can I say? The price hasn't dropped and neither has the quality of service.
    I have had excellent 8 meg service from Comcast in spite of the complaints and bad report the company receives. Since my last review, I have lost internet connectivity two (2) times do to outages area wide. Once was because of weather and another was because of a drunk driver and a pole.

    Because of cost to this service, if I ever thought I would see 400k sec to 1.4k a sec downloads from AT&T DSL I may be willing to change back.
