    I've used Comcast for a number of years now.

    I find their service to be relatively reliable and the performance is adequate. I have friends that have access to municipal fiber in their areas and the speeds are substantially higher than what I can get through comcast.

    I use DirecTV and voip, so I only use Comcast for HIS. That means that I don't qualify for any of their bundles or discounts. Luckily I was able to get in at a lower rate for my first 6 months.

    After a few years of reliable service my SB5101 cable modem finally died. I am now using a Motorola modem that Comcast provided for me (leased) and I have noticed increased reliability and upload speeds have also improved. Lesson learned, if you have an old modem it might be limiting your performance.
