    My Other Reviews·AT&T Midwest
Well all I can say is Power boost is the shiz!
This line rocks the past few months after a great Comcast tech came and fixed a faulty splitter. Also added a booster at the wall where the cable starts. Great stuff!
Speeds are well above average all day and night I'm a very happy camper.
I think the monthly fees are way too high for TV but for Inet slighty high but it's an awsome product.

Test are now around 24,000 on average, gotta love it

Still cooking. Looks like this latest tech knew his stuff and I'm alot happier.
consistent over 12000K speed tests and dls from fast servers top 1400k

They came out and replaced splitters and put in a signal booster. It's working again, TV better, Internet better we'll see how long it lasts but speed tests now hit 12000 to14000K and I can dig that lol

    Todays joke from comcast..

dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-03-09 19:52:07 EST:
    372 / 709
    Your download speed : 372 kbps or 46.5 KB/sec.
That is 91.8% worse than avg. other reports from comcast.net
Your upload speed is much faster than down.. have you tweaked?

    Your upload speed : 709 kbps or 88.6 KB/sec.
That is 83.2% better than avg. other reports from comcast.net

    Last Result:
Download Speed: 677 kbps (84.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 717 kbps (89.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
    Another day of crap..

The Internet speeds are often so slow that I cant open a webpage.
The TV service is ok except I only get 1/2 the channels in the other room and 3/4 in the main room.
There are many appartments here and they are all on splitters in the basement, The box is falling off the wall and dangerous to be around.
Constant calls to comcast by management of the building and tenants forced to use the service get little or no response. They reset your boxes and if you are lucky you still get the channels you had before.
I ordered the service and was very happy with the sales folks and the installer was very good as well, He noted the bad wiring in the basement but they wont fix it.
I got a dsl line installed in 2 days and its what I mainly have to use because the cables about worthless. I am asking them to come out again and I'll update if they ever fix it.

    Good Luck

Good luck about Comcast, I had comcast for 11 days. the 8MB is really cool when it works.. Out of the 11 days I had them, I only had 3 days of solid connection, the rest were just total nightmare. (20 hours or 24 hours of downtime per day.) Eventually, I had to cancel it. I'm sticking with good old Covad.
