My bottom line stands. Not a great value. It's super fast, and has been more reliable (on what I think is our 4th modem). They had to climb the pole behind our house to fix the tap, and now that they've done that, I think the problem is mostly gone.
Speed keeps increasing from time to time, but price hasn't lowered. :-(

Living here in Davis. I don't have many details, as my housemate is the one who set us up with the service. This makes me think that per month, it's not too cheap.
The service has been going out at night and remaining out for 10+ hours each time. Tried power-cycling the modem several times each time this happens, with no fix in sight. We called comcast last night and they're sending a tech out tomorrow to take a look at the line and troubleshoot it.

10/21/05: Tech came out today and took a look at our line. We were under the acceptable signal levels, so he switched some splitters around and provided more power to the port at which our cable modem is connected. More stable so far, but we'll see how it goes tonight. The service I believe is 4mb/something.
