Install did not go well. Installer was not able to get the modem provisioned. I figured it out on my own a couple days later, he had been entering the account number incorrectly. I had some problems with billing. I own my modem and Comcast kept billing for rental. It took 3 months and many phone calls to finally work that out. Service speeds, when I started was 3000/256 but has since been upgraded to 4000/384. Achieving the capped speed is only possible during late night-early morning hours. Packet loss is very rare. I am pleased with price so far but it's going up soon, I am sure of that. Email works. Gaming performance is good.

Since I wrote this review, I have moved into an Adelphia area which has subsequently been bought out by Comcast. So I'm back with Comcast again. The service is ok but the upload speed is still a paltry 384kbps. I would also like to add that before Comcast even took down the Adelphia sign on their office building, we had already received a notice about rate increases.

We made a short move from north of Baltimore to south of Baltimore. Comcast was not able to transfer service across counties so we had to sign up as new customers. Comcast has already tried to bill me for modem rental on a modem I own and I'm disappointed to say that they have tried to do it again at this new address. I have to wonder how many people don't notice the extra charge? The data portion of my install went much smoother than the TV portion. Although it did take longer to get online because Comcast states it takes an hour or 2 to enter a MAC address in their database. But the service did come on so no complaints there. The download speed is good, if the powerboost is going, otherwise it's mediocre. The upload speed is horrid and struggles to get 200 kbps in a speed test. Hindsight is 20/20 and turns out I'm in Verizon FIOS country now. I am wanting to jump ship but my wife wants to stay with Comcast since we paid a fair amount for installation.
