It's pretty good service, mostly reliable and efficient. However, it's the company you love to hate:
1. The prices are just too high for cable. 2. No competition since DSL in Sacramento is virtually nonexistent (no RTs, few COs). 3. Too many contract installers from Eastern Europe. Argumentative, know it alls, hard to understand, do not seem to know basic installation. 4. I had 4 appointments before connection. 3 were "canceled" without notice to me. The 4th one was 1.5 hours late. That's a lot of time to sit and wait for nothing. 5. First installer who did show up didn't know how to hook me up. I actually hooked myself up and had cable internet for a couple of weeks before Comcast officially hooked me up. 6. Call center in Winnipeg, Manitoba seems to know what they're doing. Call center in Texas are buffoons and actually damaged my account settings without telling me. It got where when I made my numerous calls to Comcast, I'd ask which city I was talking to and I'd hang up on Texas and call again to get Winnipeg.
After connection, really no issues except price.
