I have been having OOL for almost 2 years. It's great, very reliable and cheap. O currently pay $29.99, but after March I will need to pay $39.99. I get 5500/950 with my router, and 9000+/950 without it. I would really wish this router problem with the Motorola Sb4100 did not exist, but what can I do, Dlink told me they were going to look at it, and well never did anything.
I recommend OOL for everyone that can get it, its great. The only real downside is no servers, but what do we expect with such high uploads!? My IP hardly changes, I have been with the same IP since August. The Install was easy, I did it myself! Get OOL People.
Update: I got a D-link 614+ and now i get 8500/950 with my router. I am very happy with the service, except for all the price hikes. I went from 29 a month to 45. I know many people will say don't complain, you get great speeds, but speed isn't everything!!
Update: (7/10/07)
The price for OOL has stayed the same since when I had done the previous review update. The speeds are now around 13000/1800 (15/2). This is great for the $45 a month that I pay for the service. Sure the price has gone up but the service has also improved dramatically over time. Downtimes have been minimal over these years, though there have been a few that have been hours long. I also got OV and do not notice much slowdowns when using the phone, which is great. Personally if you have the option to get OOL I would recommend you jumping on the service.
