    My Other Reviews·Verizon Online DSL
Even having this company find where I lived to install the service was a terror. They couldn't seem to find my place; finally, I noticed some Adelphia vehicles in the neighborhood, and physically walked a field supervisor to where I live. It took a couple more days to find that my address was now in their database, and I proceeded to order.

I found the Ontario office to be particularly bad.

I ordered the upload at 400, and it is consistently higher than that. Download on same package was from 3000 - 4000; I haven't hit the ceiling in this, but am satisfied with the speeds I am getting, after the initial first few days.

Well, I just did a few different speed tests, and I am at about 1/3 the speed I should be getting; at least, on the speed tests here. My downloads seem okay, other than that.

I ordered the Premium Package, but didn't want the Digital Cable for the TV, and the unlearned field tech said they only offered the digital now, so I ended up going back to the office and telling them what the tech said and that I had no use for digital, since my TV is far from that, and they fixed me up.

Then, I got two bills at once, which ticked me off, and the customer service rep I talked to said they always rolled it over on the 23rd of each month. I was astounded, and told him that all they could expect from me was the $52.00 I would normally owe. The customer service rep said this after I had been assured, the month before by another, friendlier customer service rep, that I would be getting an eleven percent drop on my bill.

    What a ball of BS.

Well, it seems they've capped my download and upload speeds to less than that which is what I am supposed to be paying for.

After this contract is up, I think I will shop it around - Verizon just has not been honest enough with me.
