    In my area we have choices for three broadband providers. One is Current Communications (BPL), the other is Cincinnati Bell (Zoomtown) DSL, and TWC Road Runner. Each service does have their perks.

    I would say RR is the best service in our are in terms of speeds offered/received and price. Service is pretty consistent and I hardly have had any issues with it going offline. I currently have a dual wan setup with a Netgear router. My first connection is a RR biz line with 15megs down and 2 megs upload. The second connection is a premium RR residential line. It has 16~ megs down(with boost up to ~22megs) and 768kbps up. That goes through a 24 port gigabit switch and then out to the rest of the computers on the network. It's a basic setup and I find it to be pretty reliable with the internet providers I have. Right now TWC has the fastest connections in the tristate area. If there were other services that offered higher speeds with a competitive price I would prob. try them out. Other than that I'm really happy with the services I have with them.
