    Because my wife works out of the home, and needed a reliable internet connection I had AT&T DSL and TWC/Earthlink cable installed. I would use one provider for our personal use and the other for her work so neither interferred with the other and if hers failed I just move her to the still active service. After two years I looks like AT&T isn't putting UVerse up in this part of Austin, nor increasing speeds. TWC on the other hand has been increasing speeds and we've only had a couple outages that lasted less then an hour. So I've cancelled AT&T and switched to RoadRunner from Earthlink and also went with the Turbo option. Service works as advertised on the speeds, wife likes the faster uploads over her VPN.
